My background is as a vocalist first and I am comfortable teaching all voice parts, whether you are a beginner or an advanced singer. My focus is on healthy technique in learning to blend vocal registers for a seamless sound that is comfortable to produce and yields the expression you want to project. Whether you want to learn arias or to belt like Ariana, I can help you reach your goals!

You've got a guitar, now you want to learn how to play it! 10 years ago, after having abandoned guitar in my college years out of frustration and lack of progress, I bought a Gibson and joined a band. I needed to learn how to play really quickly, and so I decided to learn just the most essential chords I needed to get by. I then kept adding to my vocabulary, and soon even added some lead riffs! I can help you go from zero to full songs in a handful of lessons, just with a few basics and my method of integrating efficient (short!) and consistent practice into your daily routine.

Similar to playing guitar, most folks just want to learn how to play the songs they love. You don't need to be Chopin or Beethoven to enjoy playing the piano/keyboard. I can help you focus on what you need to learn to play what you want to play. Whether you want to fully read and play sheet music, or translate a chord chart into accompaniment, I can help you learn to love playing and to play what you love!

One of the greatest ways to express yourself is to write your own music. Whether it's your goal to become the next Taylor Swift, or if you just want to get your feelings out in a song, you CAN write music no matter your experience. Together we will explore the elements of songwriting and get you confidently writing your own amazing pieces!
